About ImageTidy
Simple image tools. Private by design.
ImageTidy is a small set of image tools that do one thing each and do it without asking for anything from you. There is no account, no sign-up and no upload step: you pick a file, choose your settings and download the result.
Browser-based processing
Every tool is built on standard web APIs that modern browsers already ship: the File API to read the image you selected, createImageBitmap and the Canvas API to decode and redraw it, and the browser’s own JPG, PNG and WebP encoders to write the finished file. All of that runs on your device, using your processor. The output is created as a local blob and handed straight to your downloads folder.
Our privacy approach
Your images are processed entirely in your browser and are not uploaded to ImageTidy. We do not receive them, cannot see them and have nothing to store, sell or leak. The website itself is an ordinary website — it loads pages and fonts over the network like any other — but your image data is not part of any of those requests. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is and is not involved.
The tools
- Resize Image — exact dimensions, optional aspect-ratio lock, JPG/PNG/WebP output.
- Compress Image — smaller files with a quality control and a real before/after comparison.
- Convert Image — between JPG, PNG and WebP, keeping transparency where the format allows.
- Bulk Resize — a whole batch at once, downloaded as a ZIP. A Premium feature.
Nothing to install
There is no desktop app, browser extension or plugin. If you have a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari — on a laptop, a tablet or a phone — you have everything you need.
Free and Premium
Single-image tools are free, with a fair-use allowance of 10 operations per rolling 24 hours. Premium removes the limit and unlocks bulk processing. Either way, the work still happens in your browser.
